Introduction to Microsoft Office

Microsoft Office has become the most used office automation product in the world. Every company expects, at a minimum, that their employees understand how to use Microsoft Office.  This course takes it a step further and prepares you to a level that you could pass the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist exam.  Certifications prove to employers that you have competency in the tool and could possibly share your expert knowledge with other employees.  If you need to learn or even brush up on your Microsoft Office skills then this course is for you.

Based on the popular STEP BY STEP books from Microsoft Press, this instructor-led course teaches you an overview of the Microsoft Office Word 2007 features and functions that pertain to the objectives of the corresponding Microsoft Business Certification credential. This course is intended to allow individuals to prepare for certification as a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist in Office .

With the STEP BY STEP approach, beginning to intermediate-level users get easy-to-follow lessons and hands-on practice exercises for learning the core capabilities and essential skills when working with Office. The STEP BY STEP self-paced guide allows students to work at their own pace after the classroom experience is over to reinforce what they learned in class and build additional skills

Please note: Depending on request, we will either be teaching Office 2007, or Office 2010
