This course is intended to allow individuals to prepare for certification as a Microsoft Certified Application Specialist in Excel .

With the STEP BY STEP approach, beginning to intermediate-level users get easy-to-follow lessons and hands on practice exercises for learning the core capabilities and essential skills for working with Office Excel . Design and Graphic Design is overarching and goes far beyond the four corner dimensions of a computer screen.  This is why, with the fast and constant development of desktop publishing and home computers, the need for a clear understanding of a graphic designer’s creative tools is more important than ever.

This  set of courses  will to take the word “design” by its original root,  insisting to lead it back to its graphical, sketching and artistic approach. New technologies are important, can be a great help, and revelation on the way, but never the means to an end.

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is the foremost image editing program in the graphic design, online and print world.   No graphic designer, web designer or photographer can do without it today.  Through tutorials, exercises, and step by step explanations, this course will enable the student to acquire  the basics skills that will enable you to understand the basics of this complex  but important program.

ESL (English As a Second Language)                        

Bagrut English:

There will be a focus on honing the skills necessary for the standardized test (all modules except for the literary module) which includes vocabulary enrichment, tips and tricks for maintaining grammatical consistency in writing and speaking and well-planned and executed essay writing.  The skills will be taught through literary texts as well as vocabulary and grammar-based exercises. Students will be prepared to compose formal and informal letters as well as three paragraph essays.

Adult ESL:

This course will work primarily on vocabulary expansion, strengthening verbal skills and cohesive writing in English.  Short, authentic texts will be used as a basis for the learning.  Participation is a vital component to learning any language and will therefore be a necessary element to this course.  The grammar that will be taught and reviewed is: the simple tenses, the progressive tenses, the conditional tenses and the perfect tenses.  There will be an emphasis on the correct usage of the verb ‘to be’ in all of the tenses.  Students will learn how to properly express an opinion, and use description in their speaking and writing.
