Waldorf from the Periphery

You are invited to a presentation and discussion about the international Waldorf homeschooling movement and the recent explosion of Waldorf-in-the-public-sphere. Emphasis will be on charter schools in the U.S., however Australian and domestic in-district programs will be covered, as well.

The presenter, Rainbow Rosenbloom, holds a master's degree from Harvard where he studied Multiple-Intelligence Theory with Howard Gardner. He weaves this theoretical background with Waldorf educational philosophy and methods of the "the Compassionate Classroom". As an educator, Rainbow, has designed a popular Waldorf curriculum for home-schoolers, and, as a co-founding Board member of the Alliance for Public Waldorf Education, he currently works to coordinate the educational pathways of home, private, and public school options.
